The works entitled,' in our own image' are small conversational pieces, skins and open interiors, enigmatically inhabited.
Closed pod or vessel forms and their association with fertility and life cycles, are juxtaposed with the manufactured quality of their exteriors, with material and construction suggestive of small industrial process.
They can inhabit the surface in different ways, can be handled and heard and can work interdependently with another.
These are part of a series of works, large and small, reflecting on our relationship to the natural world.
